Rules

1. Entry fees and deposits are non-refundable.

2. Anglers must possess a sport fishing license (not conservation)

3. All federal and provincial fishing, boating and criminal laws must be obeyed at all times.

4. No live bait.

5. Fish must be at least 12" tip to tip.

6. Five (5) fish limit

7. 1 Lb deduction penalty for dead fish. Dead fish will also NOT be weighed towards big fish.

8. The use or consumption of alcohol and/or illegal substances will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification and lifetime ban from all BBT events.

9. Boat must be equipped with working live wells that will be inspected before blast-off at each event.(sorry no substitutions)

10. Boat must be equipped with a working kill switch that will be inspected before blast-off at each event.

11. All boats must carry a minimal $1,000,000 insurance liability. Must provide proof upon request if required.

12. A Canadian coast guard approved life jacket must be worn under main power.(no substitutions)

13. Teams consist of a maximum of two people per boat.

14. The team's captain is awarded points, which they carry from event to event.

15. A captain cannot change status with his/her original team, but may have 1 subsitute only for 1 event only. NO EXCEPTIONS

16. Boundaries are any water accessible by boat, except where legally marked as "no trespassing".

17. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification from event without refund.

18. All entries are to be paid in full (1) one week before event. A $25.00 late fee will be applied to late entries.

19. Payment recieved day of event cash only $190.00. NO EXCEPTIONS.

20. To Qualify for the final two day tournament, you as a captain must fish at least 3 of the 4 tournaments, not including the final tournament as well as your partner with who you registered with no substitutes for final tournament. You will also be required to pay an extra fee for those tournaments missed, $30.00 per boat for the missed tournaments - meaning the final tournament will cost $180.00 1 missed tournament or $210.00 for 2 missed tournaments.

21.All competitors must help out any competitor that is broken down and unable to make it back to the weigh-in area.If they are past the final time, the boat that breaks down will be given 1lb penalty per minute and the one towing will be given no penalty for good sportsmanship.

22.pre-fish will be closed-Monday.tuesday Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday before the tournament !!!  NO SCOUTING

23.  30- boat limit per event only

24.  Morning of tournament: check-in between 6:00a.m. and 6:30a.m.  Boat check between 6:30 and 6:45a.m.  BLAST OFF at 7:00a.m. Weigh- in at 3.30pm  GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
